Hilary is a sociologist, consultant, teacher and writer in regeneration, strategic social policy and sustainable communities. She has post-graduate qualifications and research experience in the sociology of science and technology – particularly knowledge economy – and in social policy, health (e.g. teenage pregnancy) and education, having advised on the development of public service provision such as Sure Start Children’s Centres and support for at-risk young people. Hilary also has considerable experience across sectors as a company director.
